MET Youth

Met Youth Calgary began in 2015 under the guidance and blessing of Rev. Father Peter Rougas. After returning from a National Youth Conference in Ontario, youth members realized that St. Demetrios Greek Orthodox Church in Calgary did not have a youth group that united the younger generations and encouraged them to remain active in our Orthodox faith as they grew up.

Οur mission

Met Youth Calgary is a Greek Orthodox Youth Group in Calgary, Alberta, Canada, that aspires to introduce youth and young adults to Christ and inspire them to live out their relationships with the Lord and His Church on a daily basis. We strive to keep our faith, heritage, culture and traditions of our Greek Orthodox Community alive through spiritually and socially cultivating the next generations. We aim to leave a legacy by being mentors and educators.
